overall; Mai is a very cheery looking girl with clothes to match her personality. She loves clothing that allows her to stick out in the crowd. Typically, she wears a short dress that allow for the reveal of short jeans shorts, the dress being of the color green. She wears a sleeveless jacket with a large eskimo style hood that is adorned with bown and fur. To keep her legs warm, as is essential to be, she wears tights with trees adorning them. The only thing that might seem odd about Mai is that her shoe are of different heights. On her right leg, she wears a thigh high boot and on her left, an ankle boot. This is because Mai lost her original shoes and there two were the only two salvagable from the masses of depressed and worn shoes. Her hair is normally up in a ponytail except for the lay of bangs that frame her face.such a strange numb
personality; Cheery, but quiet is the best way to describe Mai. She's a very helpful girl, but is often secluded due to her kleptomania. Always wanting to help out in the best way she can, Mai can somtimes push herself into people's lives if she believes herself correct, which she is sometimes wrong about. When she's got her mind on something, it's never an easy task to convince her otherwise, but she does try to remain open minded. Mai also drifts on into lala land a lot, and is often punished for not paying attention, even though it often happens involuntarily. Her number one fear is stairs, having fallen down them one too many times, and is all the more happy to take an elevator or a ladder instead.

history; If average was an adjective, Mai is about as average as you get. Born to Susan and Sigmund Navaeh on March 15th, Mai was a typical baby: brown fuzz, seven pounds, six ounces, brown eyes that later turned hazel. There was nothing special about Mai in the beginning, as she grew up and became potty trained and learned, and so there was no reason to pick her up out of a crowd. When she was six, however, and unsuspectingly, Mai was diagnosed with kleptomania. How they knew? Mai, the clever girl, had been hiding a plethora of gizmos never seen and never paid for in her room, and had only been found out after being caught at the department store for nabbing a top. Taken to a therapist, Mai eventually learned to control her urges, although she still nabs the occassional item or two to supply adrenaline.
Her parents worked hard in order to keep the family alive, and so Mai erroded all her time with her best friend Melissa Mower, a girl who was 4 years Mai's senior and whose parents were friends of the family. The girl did everything together: went out, sleepovers, homework, talked about boys. But Melissa was also one of the first hit by the plague that Mai knew of, and so was eventually cut off from being around her best friend. The next time she saw Melissa, she was so very beautiful and so very adorned--as well as residing in a satin coffin.
After that, Mai wondered what reason there was to go to school, go about life anymore, and started to slack off and depress. One week, the school was full, the next, a quarter of the students had disappeared, and two weeks later, Mai was one of only two hundred students surviving. Why they kept school, Mai didn't know, maybe as a strain of hope that this would all blow over or the wish that it was all a bad dream.
Mai's parents died soonafter. They had caught the virus, and instead of wanting their daughter to be exposed and watch them die, they shot themselves in double suicide so that they might die in a peaceful state, and so that their daughter wouldn't have to live with knowing their bodies betrayed them.
On her own, Mai now wonders around Leeds and has since then, doing what she can to keep herself alive. If she comes across someone, she helps them the best she can before moving on and finding a new place to hide out.and god bless you all
