overall;
standing barely over three feet and weighing only forty five pounds, kolton is a very small, vulnerable boy. even though his height and weight are about average for his age, trying to survive on his own is tough on his body. what used to be bright, sparkling blue eyes are now a dull, pale blue, which is a result of the life he's been living for almost an entire year. his blond hair used to be well kept by his mother but it's become a wild mess, now that he's on his own. kolton still has babyish features, such as chubby cheeks and a bit of a little chub on his stomach. however the baby fat's slowly starting to go away because of how scarce food is becoming. so, now he's slimming down - not only because of the food limit but also because of how much he runs around the streets.such a strange numb
personality;
being as vulnerable as he is, most would assume that kolton wouldn't be able to survive for much more than a few days on his own. but that's where he tends to surprise most people. he's grown to be independent and one of the few boys you'll meet who's so full of determination. he likes to think that he's very brave and doesn't need any sort of help from anyone. however, kolton's only a six year old boy and he still needs a parental figure whom will take care of him and be able to depend on. even so, he can get a bit cocky and show off whenever given the opportunity to do so. he's also a pretty funny kid, even though he doesn't try to be. the things that come out of his mouth are so unpredictable and he sometimes doesn't even think before he speaks.

history;
leeds was a place with blessings and burdens, it wasn't safe but it wasn't dangerous either; it was the place he called home. born into a family whom valued respect and good behavior, kolton had been taught to do as he was told when he was told to do it and never try to argue his way out of it. if he did challenge either of his parents, which he did quite often out of stubbornness, his dad would be quick to smack him upside the head with his hand or a rolled up newspaper. this method of discipline eventually got the better of kolton and he learned not to disobey either one of his parents or any other member of his family, for that matter. it also toughened him up a littl, which greatly pleased his father.
having been born into a large family, kolton quickly realized that he had to use what muscle he had in order to get what he needed. whether it be the washroom or an extra piece of chicken at the kitchen table, he had to be able to put up a good wrestle for it. however, considering he was the smallest and the weakest, kolton's father or mother would have to step in most of the time and give him a little help. however, he managed to survive in the crazy household. kolton was actually a happy kid, he enjoyed his life and it showed through his smile and bright eyes. but all of that changed once the virus hit.
the week his family was infected with the virus was like any other week - every day he woke up, ate breakfast and got ready for preschool with the help of his mother. as the days passed, though, each of the people he cared for the most dropped dead. his mother, father, brothers, sisters, grandfather - all of them, dead. soon, he was forced out of his home because of the .he couldn't believe what was happening, he didn't want to. it was all too frightening. it didn't take long before the virus spread even further and mostly everyone around him was randomly dying.
eventually, kolton wandered his way back to leeds - picking up anything and everything that would help him survive on his own. at first, the raiders had become a big problem for the young boy because it didn't take much for them to overpower him and take what the wanted. but as time passed and he became a bit more street smart, kolton hid in the shadows and did his best to keep light on his feet so nobody would hear him coming or going. so far, he's been able to fend for himself but he's starting to become very lonely and a little afraid, even. the only other human source he's had contact with are the raiders; he hasn't come across any other lone survivors, which is really a damper for him.and god bless you all

sample;A few drops of water trickled down the bridge of his nose and eventually detached themselves from his skin, falling to the tiled floor. Grabbing the towel he placed on the counter earlier, Adrien stepped out of the shower and quickly dried himself off before wrapping the towel around his waist. If he was ceratin that the servants his parents had hired for him were not around the house, he would have most likely left the towel in the bathroom and paraded around the house without a care in the world. It wasn't like anyone would see him anyway, but of course his parents insisted on Adrien having at least a few maids and a butler, whom had rooms of their own to reside in whenever they wished. He didn't really like the idea of sharing his living space with anyone, especially with people he doesn't know. It was either this or a dormitory though and Adrien wasn't too keen on living in a small room with one or two other people, only because of the ridiculous yet believable stories his mother use to tell him about them. He knew the only reason she told him these stories was to scare him from even thinking of residing in a dorm, he didn't know why though. Maybe she thought the lifestyle of these other people would rub off on him? Possibly.
He raised a hand to his head, tousling his short dark blond hair as he quickly ran through the possible outfits he could wear. Adrien wasn't too picky when it came to clothes - as long as it looked good on him, he would wear it. Though, today he was having trouble deciding what to pull on, which was ridiculous considering he was only going out for lunch with a friend; Antoinette. He had been out with his friends countless times before and never had he had any problems like this before, so why now? He finally settled on a black short sleeved Polo shirt and a pair of blue jeans - simple enough. He had no idea how Antoinette would ready herself, so he didn't know whether he should dress a bit more formal or not. Adrien shrugged it off once he returned to the bathroom and glanced in the mirror, deciding he looked presentable either way. He poked around the large house, gathering his wallet, keys and cell phone, and slipped them into his pockets.
He slipped out the front door of the house, making sure to lock it, and moved with a confident stride down the stone walkway. The cool air seemed to sooth his nerves slightly as he jabbed a button on his key chain, causing the garage door to slowly open. Adrien let out a content sigh as he reached his car - a classic black 1968 Firebird, one thing he took great pride in. It wasn't in top condition or anything special, but he took good care of it and it looked to be almost new, thanks to the wax job he did a few days ago. Adrien unlocked and opened the drivers side, slid in and slammed the door shut. Partial bits of his teeth were shown in the slanted smile that quickly spread along his lips as the engine roared to life with a turn of his key. He pulled out of the driveway and onto the road, tapping his index fingers on the steering wheel in time with the beat of a random song that had started blaring from the radio once the car came to life.
It was only then that he replayed their AIM conversation in his mind, a smirk tugging at his lips. He found it funny how easy it was to set up a 'meeting' with her. It caused him to ponder over the possibility that she might be just as easy to woo - he actually chuckled softly at the thought as he turned onto a different street.
Adrien parked relatively close to the jardin du luxembourg and slid out of the car, closing the door behind him. His stride was a bit quick as he made a beeline for the cafe, so he stopped himself for a moment to regain his composure and continued on his way with a less eager walk. It took him a moment or so to recognize the slim figure walking several paces ahead of him, which caused a small smirk to spread along his lips, "Antoinette!" he raised his voice slightly in order for her to hear his call and then quickened his pace slightly to catch up with her, "Right on time, huh?" he spoke again once he was at her side, his blue eyed gaze focused on her while still holding his devious smirk.
